QUEENSRCHE's EDDIE JACKSON: We've Never Had This Many New Ideas To Choose From
March 26, 2002Progressive rockers QUEENSRCHE have begun writing songs for their new, as-yet-untitled studio album for a late 2002 release through Sanctuary Records. The band is undertaking intensive songwriting sessions at Bear Creek Studios in Woodinville, Washington, and have already come up with more than enough ideas to choose from, according to bassist Eddie Jackson. I don't think we've ever had this many to work with before. Putting on our thinking caps and isolating ourselves in one room for several weeks, it has brought back the camaraderie that's been missing over the last three releases.
The new studio album will be QUEENSRCHE's follow-up to last year's double live CD and DVD Live Evolution. The Live Evolution DVD debuted at # 11 on Billboard's top music video sales chart.
